Dry socket is a very painful dental condition that is caused after the extraction of tooth. One of the best remedies to treat dry socket is by using alternating hot and cold packs. All you need is to apply a cold ice pack outside the face for about 25 minutes followed by applying a hot pack for 10 to 15 minutes. This helps in reducing the pain very effectively.
