Homemade body cleansers are soothing and refreshing. Regular use of natural cleansers like aloe Vera, lime, green gram flour, yogurt is highly recommended to tone the skin and make it supple and glowing.
Follow These Simple And Effective Homemade Recipes For Facial Wash:
1. Lime
Do not throw away the used squeezed lime. Put this lime peel into the mixer, add a teaspoon of powdered sugar and grind this mix coarsely. Pat this mix onto your face and leave it to dry. Rinse with cold water. The astringent and exfoliating properties of the lime helps to cleanse the face and leaves it bright and fresh.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is the Queen of beauty care. A simple extract of Aloe Vera gel from the stem and apply the same on your face, neck and hands. Leave this for about 10 minutes and rinse with warm or cold water. This a natural face cleanser and will help your facial skin glow. This cleanser maybe used every day.
3. Freshmint
Grind a bunch of fresh mint leaves and apply it on your face. After it dries, wash thoroughly.
4. Yogurt And Turmeric Paste
Mix a spoon of fresh yogurt and turmeric powder and beat the mix thoroughly. Apply this paste on your face, neck and hands. Leave it to dry for about ten minutes and then wash off with a cold shower.
5. Indian Lilac And Turmeric Paste
Grind a few fresh and tender Indian Lilac and mix in a spoon of turmeric powder. Mix this thoroughly and apply the paste evenly on your face, neck and hands. This a dynamic cleanser especially during summer. The skin tends to sweat and the Indian Lilac and turmeric are excellent bacterial and fungal removers. Facial scrub is the act of exfoliating the skin. This means we are trying to remove the dead skin. 6. Green Gram Flour And Yogurt
Mix two tablespoons of gram flour and two table spoons of curd in a bowl. Beat this mixture thoroughly and leave it to rest for five minutes. Apply this paste on your face, neck and hands and after it dries. Gently roll and rub the dried paste from the applied areas with your tips of your fingers. Wash off with a cool shower.
7. Papaya And Curd Scrub
Mix half a cup of finely mashed ripe papaya, with two tablespoons of yogurt. Mix this paste with two drops of lime juice and one tablespoon of honey. Apply this paste over your face and neck. Leave it to dry and then rub in slow circular motions such that the dries paste falls off. Rinse in cold water.
8. Oats And Tomato Scrub
Coarsely grind a cup of oats. Cut two slices of tomatoes. Take care that the tomatoes are not too ripe but, are pulpy and firm. Mix powdered sugar about two spoons into the coarsely ground oats and beat the mix thoroughly. Pat this as on your face and neck. Allow it to settle into your skin for about ten minutes and then as it dries start to gently roll in circular motions the tomato slices on your face and neck. Wash off with cool water.
9. Honey And Orange Peel Scrub
Mix well dried orange peel powder and oats powder two table spoons each. Add to this mix one tablespoon of honey and mix all the ingredients to a thick consistency with a little water if necessary. Apply this on your face and neck and let it remain for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with luke warm or cold water.
Natural Facial Masks:
10. Almond And Milk paste
Soak about 2-3 almonds in water and grind to a fine paste. Mix about two table spoons of fresh milk into this paste and blend this mixture well. Apply this paste on your face and neck and let it dry for 10 minutes and wash off in cool water.
11. Banana Paste
Take a medium sized banana and mash it to a fine paste. Your Vitamin B12 Face mask is ready. Apply this smoothie on your face and leave it on for ten to twenty minutes. Wash off with cold water. Your skin is as soft as a newborn child’s is.
