Vitamin A

Hence, by consuming vitamin A daily will greatly help in preventing hair loss and damage. The products that contain vitamin A can also be used to reduce hair fall. Internally, vitamin A can be obtained through eating foods like sweet potatoes, red pepper, paprika, carrots, turnip greens and cantaloupe.
B Vitamins
B vitamins are a group of vitamins that are concerned with almost every major and minor function in the body. The B vitamins have the ability to control the stress levels, which is the primary cause for hair loss.
B vitamins like Inositol is used in medications to increase the speed of hair growth. Many people fall short of vitamin B12 that plays an important role in preventing hair loss. The effect of B vitamins increases when they are taken together and most widely B vitamins are present in food sources like red meat, skimmed milk, eggs, cheese and shellfish.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is most widely used for treating common cold and scurvy. Vitamin C allows the body to absorb iron in high concentrations, which is essential for proper growth of hair. People who are deficient of vitamin C are more easily prone to hair fall.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is important for maintaining proper hair growth. This vitamin is helpful for building capillaries that increase the flow of blood, especially in the scalp region. This encourages a proper hair growth and maintenance.
The recommended dosage of vitamin E is about 400 IU per day to increase the stimulation of hair follicles. Food sources that have high amounts of vitamin E are spinach, avocados, almonds, fishes, pumpkin and broccoli.
