Ginger
Ginger is a great herb and is used in treating many ailments. It is anti inflammatory and a pain reliever. For best results make a tea of fresh ginger root by grating it and then pouring boiling hot water over it. This mixture should be steeped for 5-10 minutes and then strained.

Lemon Juice
Lemon juice can be used either freshly squeezed from lemons or preserved in a bottle. Both work equally well in case of reducing belching.
Take 1 teaspoon lemon juice and add ½ teaspoon baking soda to it, pour one cup cool water into this mixture and stir to mix well. Drink this mixture immediately after meals. This remedy is very effective in reducing acidity and flatulence in the stomach.
Papaya

Cumin
Take equal amounts of fennel, cumin and celery seeds. All these three seeds are excellent at enhancing digestion and cumin is especially good for reducing the formation of stomach gases. Chew about 1 teaspoon of this mixture thoroughly and swallow with 1/3 cup warm water after every meal.
It will reduce belching dramatically. However, do remember to chew the roasted seeds well and not swallow them half chewed or whole which will reduce their effectiveness as herbal remedies for belching.
Peppermint
This is considered as one of the popular herbal remedies for belching. This remedy is very simple to use. Just take 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint and steep it for 5 minutes in 1 cup boiling water. Then let it cool. Drink this concoction after every meal on the daily basis to prevent belching.
