8 Easy Ways To Take Care Of Your Skin During Monsoon

We love to enjoy the monsoon. Those shower drops instantly perks up our mood. We love the rain drops on our skin but the monsoon can also give you oily , greasy skin and of course those breakouts if we do not look after our skin properly. Especially oily skin beauties face most of disease outbreaks during this season. Hence it is very important to take special care of our skin in this season to keep the greasy , oily skin and pimples at bay. Today we are going to discuss about some easy ways to take care of our skin during monsoon. So lets have a look.

1. Toning:

We just discussed that our skin turns greasy and oily during monsoon. Hence it is very important to combat the greasiness by using a good toner. Toner would help you to balance the PH level of the skin and also prevent the bacterial action. The regular usage of toner would also help you to keep your skin healthy and bacteria free. Make sure you use alcohol free toner. If you do not wish to use the store bought toner then you can also prepare a toner at home. You can mix two drops of lavender essential oil , one teaspoon of tea tree oil and ten teaspoons of water. Mix it well and store in a spray bottle . You can apply this toner after cleansing your face.

2. Cleansing:

Apart from toning cleansing is also an important step to keep your skin healthy in monsoon. Choose a gentle and soap free cleanser which would strip off the natural oils from the skin and also remove the dust as well as impurities from it. You can choose cleansers which are specially formulated to control the oil secretion. You can also use natural ingredients to cleanse your face such as raw milk, honey , chickpea flour and green gram powder.

3. Rose Water:

We just can not stop raving about rose water. It is a boon for our skin especially during the monsoon. It contains skin soothing properties which helps to prevent the redness and itchiness of the skin. Apart from this it also helps to moisturize your skin and keep it hydrated. In monsoon the heavy creams and moisturizers can give you oily and greasy face . Hence you can use rose water to nourish your skin. Just spray some rose water on face and let the skin soak it. You can follow this simple remedy of chickpea flour. You would need to mix two teaspoons of chickpea flour , one teaspoon of raw milk and a pinch of turmeric. Mix it well and apply on your face.
