11 Best Home Remedies To Cure Arthritis

Take this mixture thrice a day with water. Pain, inflammation and stiffness can be reduced by applying ginger oil on the daily basis. Peel and slice a fresh piece of ginger and consume it with the meal. This will help to reduce the pain by improving the blood circulation.

Turmeric

Inflammation can be reduced by the regular consumption of turmeric. It contains curcumin that contains anti-inflammatory properties. Take 500 mg or 1000 mg of turmeric thrice a day. Before going to bed take one glass of milk with one teaspoon turmeric in it. Can also drink the juice of turmeric.

Apple Cider Vinegar

It is rich source of minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorous. It is useful in alleviating joint pain. Take warm water in a cup. Mix one teaspoon of honey and apple cider vinegar in it. Consume this solution every morning as it provides alkalizing effects.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Mix cinnamon (half a teaspoon) and a teaspoon of honey in warm water and consume it every morning on the empty stomach on the daily basis. You can also massage the paste of honey and cinnamon on the affected area.

Alfalfa

Alfalfa is rich source of minerals and assists in regulating pH levels. A cup of tea can be made from alfalfa. Add half or a teaspoon of alfalfa seeds in boiling water. Allow it simmer for about 20-30 minutes and then strain it. Consume this for two or three weeks on the daily basis. You can also prefer alfalfa capsules, which is already available in the market.

Fish Oil

Fish oil is rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, which has anti-inflammatory result in the body and will help in reducing the pain. Consume 1-2 teaspoons of fish oil on a daily basis. Epsom Salt

Use Warm Mustard Oil Massage

This remedy is very common as you might have heard it from your grandmother or from your mother. Here you just have to take 2-3 teaspoons of mustard oil and warm it using a mild flame. Don’t over heat as it may burn your skin. Heat it till a normal temper that you skin can bear it without any hassle. Now massage your affected area with this oil for 15-20 minutes. Repeat this process 2-3 times a day and till a week.

Do Light Exercise

Do some sit-ups and other cardio exercise such as walk, jog, aerobic dance, cycling, etc. Don’t perform running or perform some strength exercise as this may cause more trouble to the Arthritis.
