You can take maximum 4000 mg of the medicine in a day. If your weight is less than fifty kilograms, you can take 15 mg of acetaminophen for every kilogram weight in every six hours. The medicine can cause side effects like bloody stools and urine, fever, lower back pain and red skin spots.

Brufen

Brufen is used to treat pain and inflammation in the joints. The medicine contains the NSAID drug ibuprofen. The medicine cures pain by blocking the activity of cyclo-oxygenase, which is responsible for causing pain and inflammation. The medicine is useful for decreasing pain due to arthritis, spondylitis, tendonitis, sprain and strain.

Take the medicine orally with food. If you are using brufen granules, you should dissolve and mix them in water before taking it. If you are using brufen tablets, you have to swallow the tablet with water without breaking and chewing it. Brufen can cause side effects like gut disturbance, gastritis, dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, skin rashes, oedema, hypertension, depression, vertigo, headache and heart failure.

Cuprogen Gel

Cuprogen gel is used to treat mild pain as well as inflammation in the joints. The medicine contains the NSAID drug ibuprofen. The medicine cures pain by blocking the activity of cyclo-oxygenase, which cause pain and inflammation. This is a topical medicine, which you have to apply on the skin. Wash your hands and then apply the gel.

Do not cover the affected area after applying the gel. The medicine is absorbed in the skin and decreases pain locally. You can use this gel for treating pain due to sprains and strains. You can use it for arthritis and rheumatism. Do not apply the gel if the skin is broken and infected. The gel can cause some side effects like skin rashes, indigestion and allergic reactions.

Pennsaid

Pennsaid is used for treating pain due to osteoarthritis. It contains the NSAID drug diclofenac sodium. The medicine blocks cyclo-oxygenase and cures pain. This is a topical medicine and you have to apply it on the skin after washing the hands. The medicine is useful for knee and wrist pain. Avoid using the medicine if the skin is broken and infected.

Use the medicine carefully if you have kidney and liver problems. Consult a doctor before using the medicine. Women who are pregnant and breast-feeding should not use the medicine. The medicine can cause side effects like dryness of skin and rashes.
