Marigold

Marigold flowers can be used as an infusion for drinking as well as for bathing. They have long been recommended and used for various skin ailments including psoriasis. For drinking, the infusion can be made for a day and kept. About 2 tbsp of dry flowers can be added to half a liter of water. It is allowed to be soaked for half an hour and then simmered for another 10 minutes. It can be divided into two doses.

You may add some honey for taste and drink it twice a day. This infusion without adding honey can be applied on the affected skin area, and kept for some time. After a while it can be washed with plain water. This application is specially useful for psoriasis of the scalp.

Extract one cup fresh bitter gourd juice, add 1 tsp fresh lime juice and take it the first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.
