Natural Remedies For Baldness
Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
One of the best home remedy for baldness is using amla oil. Massaging amla oil on the scalp helps to stinulate hair growth. To prepare amla oil at home, take few pieces of dry amla and boil it with coconut oil. Alternatively, make a mixture of equal quantities of fresh amla juice and lime juice. Use this solution to shampoo your hair. You may also make a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of each amla, shikakai and reetha with egg. Massage this paste on the scalp and leave for 30 minutes. Then wash off with a mild shampoo.
Honey
Make a mixture of honey and egg yolk. Apply on the affected areas and leave for 1-2 hours. Then wash off. Another way to use honey for curing baldness is to make a paste of 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder and 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply the paste over affected areas for 20 minutes and then rinse.
Onion
Cut onion slice and rub them directly on the bald areas till it becomes red. Then rub some honey on the same area. Do this daily twice a day (morning and evening). Alternatively, apply a mixture of onion juice and honey on the affected areas.
Fenugreek Seeds
Make a paste by grinding fenugreek seeds. Apply this on the bald patches and leave for about an hour. Do this regularly for a month for excellent results.
Lemon
Cut lemon into two halves and scrub it directly on the bald patches regularly for 2-3 months. This is a very useful remedy for treating baldness naturally at home.
Pigeon Pea
Make a paste of pigeon pea or red gram and apply on bald patches to promote hair growth.
Liquorice
Make a paste by grinding liquorice with milk and a pinch of saffron. Apply the paste on bald patches before going to bed regularly.
Curd
Mix equal quantities of curd and camphor. Apply the paste on affected areas and allow drying for 3-4 hours. Then wash with warm water.
Coconut
Crush coconut shavings and squeeze them to make coconut milk. Massage entire scalp using coconut milk to promote hair growth. Alternatively, mix coconut oil with lime water and lime juice. Apply the mixture on bald patches daily to prevent hair loss.
Black Pepper
Grind seeds of black pepper and lime. Make a fine paste and apply on the affected areas twice a day to stimulate hair growth.
Henna Leaves And Mustard Oil
Boil 250ml of mustard oil. Add 60gms of henna leaves in this oil and leave till they are burnt. Then filter the oil using a cloth and store it. Regularly massaging your scalp using this oil promotes hair growth.
