Effective Home Remedies for Blemishes
Carrot
You can mash and apply a boiled carrot on the affected area to deal with blemishes. This paste should be kept applied for atleast half an hour. Another option is to apply the carrot juice on the affected area to reduce spots resulting from blemishes. It is interesting to note that intake of carrot juice can also help in the treatment of blemishes.
Tea Tree Oil
You can directly apply tea tree oil on the affected area to clear the spots resulting from blemishes. A mixture of tea tree oil and water can also be applied to treat blemishes.
Indian Plum
You can create a paste by mashing Indian plum soaked in fresh water. Regular application of this paste can reduce the pigmentation resulting from blemishes.
Coarsely Green Gram
You can apply a paste created with coarsely green gram (grinded) on the affected area on a daily basis to reduce the spots or marks resulting from blemishes.
Margosa Leaves
You can extract juice from fresh margosa leaves and apply the juice on the affected area to cure blemishes. Another option is to boil margosa leaves in water and wash the affected area with this water to treat blemishes.
Almonds
You can peel almonds soaked in water for 6 to 8 hours and create a paste by mixing crushed almonds with honey and lemon juice.
Frequent application of this paste on the affected area can reduce blemishes within a short span of time. You can also apply a paste created with the use of grinded almonds and yogurt to obtain quick results.
Sandalwood
You can apply a paste created with the use of sandalwood powder and rosewater on the affected area to clear blemishes.
Tomato
You can rub the affected area with tomato pulp on a daily basis to deal with the problem of blemishes. You can also apply a mixture of tomato and lemon juice to obtain quick results.
Raw Potato
You can apply the juice extracted from a raw potato on the affected area to reduce blemishes. Raw potato slices or pulp of grated raw potato can also be directly applied on the affected area to clear the spots resulting from blemishes.
Honey
You can create a paste with the use of honey (1 tablespoon) and turmeric powder (1 teaspoon) or cinnamon powder (1 teaspoon). Application of this paste 2 to 3 times in a week can help in reducing marks or spots resulting from blemishes.
You can also rub warm honey for 10 – 15 minutes on the affected area. It is advisable to remove the honey with cold water to clear blemishes.
Papaya Peel or Banana Peel
You can rub inside part of the papaya or banana peel on the affected area (on a daily basis) to reduce blemishes.
