Cover with a shower cap and leave it on for a few hours. You may do the massaging before going to bed and let the oil remain overnight. Shampoo your hair with a mild shampoo, the next morning. However, if you have some allergy to any oil do not leave it on for long.

Mix a little vinegar (½ cups) to water (2 cups), add a few drops of essence oil and rinse your hair daily with this. This can help to condition the hair. Rinse hair thoroughly with water after the vinegar rinse. You may also soak your hair in a small basin filled with normal water to which ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar has been added.

• Brush less: while people believe that brushing encourages blood flow, excessive brushing damages hair.
• Stay away from heat: don’t use too much of dryers and other stylers that takes away the natural oils from the hair. Use protective serums in case you have to apply heat to your hair.
• Don’t shampoo too often: Shampooing too often makes the hair lose its moisture. Incase there is need to shampoo, massage your hair with oil and condition the hair post shampoo.
• Say no to strong shampoos: Stay away from very strong shampoos that strip your hair of its natural moisture instead opt for milder ones or herbal shampoos.
